What a fantastic day!!
We met at OTR Bolivar at a sparrows fart time of the morning to be at the track by 8am. Met the Cadillac La Salle Club of SA in the car park of the track, where we had a bit of a meet and greet!! Once parked, had a walk around the cars, watched the racing and mingled for the day! Some amazing racing was seen in these old cars. What a hoot!! We also did about 5 parade laps during lunch, which was great… especially when a hotted up Camaro was turfed off the track for hooning…. He may have been in the Cadillac club…maybe…..!! Sean Hayter along with his neighbour, Rod also came in the Commodore, so Sean had the Navigator seat in the Dodge for the parade laps and Alan gave Rod a thrill in the Corvette. Thanks to Peter and Lyn, Alan Litchfield and Greg Woods for coming in their cars and Sean and neighbour Rod. Thanks Greg for shooting us while we were on the track! Sorry it fell on the same day as McLaren Vale Vintage and Classics. Maybe next year!
