14 cars from our club arrived at the Castle Plaza Shopping Centre for the 'Cruise 4 Kids' charity run. This was open to all car clubs or like minded people who wished to join. The idea was to cruise from the shopping centre to Serafino's at McLaren Vale for a day at the lake with various Rock & Roll bands & a dance floor set up. We found a perfect spot under a huge gum tree right next to the lake where we could hear the music & see the dance floor, but still be in the shade as it topped 36 degrees. Plenty of food vans with variety, bar facilities & several trade / clothing stalls Selling 50s to 60s clothing & accessories, as people know 1 of my weaknesses. This was a top day with good rock & roll music, cars & most importantly good people to enjoy it with. Lyn & I would like to thank those from our club who attended & supported the cause.
